Archaeological-Folklore collection of Napi

The Napi Primary School building was constructed in 1926, and its ground floor was granted by the community to house architectural members and to showcase the local folk tradition through the villagers’ everyday utilitarian objects. The exhibition occupies three rooms. The first displays five excellently preserved and particularly important Aeolic capitals of the Archaic period and parts of column drums, while the other two present the Folklore Collection with household and cooking utensils, agricultural tools, traditional costumes, furniture, fittings and ornaments donated by Napi’s residents.
