Gomati

Gomati beach, about 4 km from the village of Katalakko, is among the island’s most impressive. Its fine golden sands and shallow, crystal-clear waters create a scene of serenity and play with the sunlight. At its northern end, a small islet close to shore offers a unique view, and when the winds blow the beach becomes ideal for surfing. Nearby are Lemnos’s famous sand dunes, a rare natural phenomenon worth exploring. Access is easy via a good dirt road, and there are a taverna and a beach bar on the shore.
