Limionas

Limnionas Beach, one of Samos’s best‑known and most loved, is about 53 kilometers southwest of the capital, on the road to Kallithea. It is nestled in a picturesque bay that protects it from the winds, almost always creating calm waters—hence its name, reminiscent of a lake. Fresh waters from Mount Kerkis well up from the seabed, giving the sea unique clarity and coolness. The beach has coarse sand and fine pebbles, while its waters are deep and crystal‑clear. It is organized, with umbrellas and sunbeds, yet retains a calm, authentic atmosphere. In the wider area there are rental rooms and tavernas serving fresh fish and local dishes, offering a complete experience of relaxation by the sea.
