Mesakti

Mesakti Beach lies in the northwest of Ikaria, near Armenistis, in the area of Gialiskari. It is popular for its golden sand, clear shallow waters ideal for children, and the pools formed by the two rivers that empty there. The beach is fully organized with umbrellas, sun loungers, and beach bars, and it is also suited to water sports such as windsurfing. The little chapel of the Ascension at Gialiskari’s harbor completes the scene. Access is from the main road, down steps to the beach, with space to leave the car.
