Molyvos
Molyvos Beach lies in the northwest of the island, next to the village of the same name, and is among the most beautiful and cosmopolitan on Lesvos. It is extensive, with fine sand and small pebbles and clean, shallow waters. There are also installed sports playgrounds for children. The coastal zone is modified, as much of it has permanent structures such as snack bars, restaurants, etc., where you can dine on traditional and international flavors. The beach is organized and provides amenities for bathers, such as toilets for people with disabilities, changing rooms, showers, toilets, bins, umbrellas, and sunbeds. Northwest of the beach, 250 m from the shore, there is a mooring area for private boats. The view from the beach is excellent, with Molyvos Castle towering impressively over the acropolis. It is an ideal destination for lovers of water sports and for those who wish to rent a boat or visit a diving center.
