Stratis Eleftheriadis – Tériade Museum and Library

The Stratis Eleftheriadis – Teriade Museum–Library opened to the public in August 1979. It houses, safeguards and presents the oeuvre of this inspired, unique person and art publisher. Stratis Eleftheriadis understood the importance of modern art and stood by young creators, supporting them. He succeeded in forging a dialogue between writers, poets and men of letters, and painters. The museum hosts part of this remarkable collection, mainly works by Greek artists. It also exhibits works by Baudin, Bores, Chagall, Giacometti, Gromaire, Laurens, Le Corbusier, Léger, Matisse, Miró and Picasso.
