Hiking

Although Agios Efstratios does not have organized, popular or waymarked hiking trails, visitors can explore the island’s natural wealth on foot by following the dirt roads and paths used by locals. They can also stroll around the harbor settlement and discover historic buildings such as the Museum of Democracy and the Marasleio–Logotheteio School. Finally, they can follow various cultural routes to significant archaeological sites and religious monuments, discovering the island’s cultural heritage.
