Skala Mystegnon

Skala Mystegna Beach lies on the eastern coast of Lesvos, 16 km from the city of Mytilene, and serves as the port of the homonymous village. It is a bay with an eastern orientation and a picturesque little harbor. A section of the beach is organized, with showers, changing rooms, umbrellas, and sunbeds. On the north side of the harbor the beach has fine sand, while on the south side it has colorful pebbles. The wider area comprises the resort settlement of Skala Mystegna and farmland, primarily olive groves. Bathers can also use the various restaurants and refreshment stands next to the shore for their basic needs. The settlement has a fairly good tourist infrastructure with accommodation and many tourist shops.
