Trachili

Trachili beach is on the west side of Chios, 25 kilometers from the town and 9.5 kilometers from the medieval village of Avgonima. It is one of the island’s most beautiful and clean beaches, where pines reach the shore. It has pebbles and coarse sand, while its waters are turquoise and crystal clear with a stunning seabed. Secluded and unorganized, it mainly attracts those seeking peace and quiet. Very close by, on a rise next to the beach, stands the Trachili Vigla, a lookout for pirates, which is well worth a visit.
