Psara
Fanari

Fanari beach is the southernmost of Psara’s beaches and lies, as its name suggests, in the cove below the island’s lighthouse. It is a lovely beach with fine pebbles, clean sea and transparent waters. Despite the fact that access is via an easy dirt road, it attracts very few people and is ideal for quiet swims. At the ends of the beach, spectacular black rocks plunge into the sea, composing a landscape of wild beauty. Finally, one of the island’s oldest chapels, that of Agios Georgios, is in the area.
