Fokospilia

The beach at Fokospilia on Thymaina is a distinctive natural landscape, where a small pebbly beach about 15 meters long lies within an impressive sea cave. Geological formations on its walls and adjacent smaller caves create a unique atmosphere, while the low temperature inside keeps it cool even in summer. Access to the cave’s entrance is by about a half-hour walk from the island’s main settlement, after which visitors can reach the beach by swimming. For safety and to protect the tranquility of the site, boats are advised to anchor outside the cave.
