Agios Dimitrios

Agios Dimitrios beach lies on the island’s west side, south of Agios Antonios. It has a sandy shore with fine black volcanic pebbles, and there are oaks that provide natural shade for visitors. Access is easy by car via a dirt road (5 km from the village), along a farm track. It is relatively large and attracts many people. Finally, it is exposed to northerly winds. It is ideal for families with children, for snorkeling and for spearfishing.
